The national standards for laminar flow hoods mainly follow the relevant requirements of the "Code for Design of Cleanrooms" (GB 50073) and the "Good Manufacturing Practice for Drugs" (GMP). The core indicators include:
Cleanliness level: Critical areas must reach level 100 (ISO 5) or higher.
Wind speed: The wind speed in a Class 100 cleanroom should be controlled at around 0.45m/s, with a deviation of no more than ± 20%.
Air volume: The air volume of a Class 100 clean room generally needs to reach 3000 cubic meters per hour or more.
Efficient filtration: HEPA or ULPA filters are required, with a filtration efficiency of ≥ 99.97% for particles ≥ 0.3 μ m.
Positive pressure control: The work area needs to maintain a positive pressure of 5-10 Pa to prevent external pollution.
In addition, attention should be paid to material selection (such as stainless steel), noise control (usually ≤ 65dB (A)), and installation and maintenance requirements.
The replacement cycle of high-efficiency filters in laminar flow hoods is usually between 1 and 3 years, depending on the usage environment, protection of the pre filter, and actual operating parameters.
The key influencing factors include:
Usage environment: For places with high cleanliness requirements such as hospital operating rooms and pharmaceutical workshops, it is recommended to replace them every 6-12 months; Ordinary office or home environments can be appropriately extended to 1-2 years.
Pre filter: If the initial and intermediate filters are properly maintained, they can effectively protect high-efficiency filters and extend their lifespan to more than 2 years.
Operating parameters: When the filter resistance reaches 1.5-2 times the initial resistance value or the airflow velocity is below 0.35m/s, it needs to be replaced immediately.
Suggestion:
Regular monitoring: Real time monitoring of filter status through differential pressure gauge or particle counter.
Keep good records: Record the running time and performance changes to provide a basis for replacement.
Professional maintenance: It is recommended to contact the manufacturer when replacing to ensure proper operation and avoid contamination.
