The regular maintenance of laminar flow hood is the key to ensuring its continuous provision of stable and clean environment, and the core lies in standardized operation and strict testing.
Daily cleaning is the foundation. Clean the outer surface before production, wipe the box with detergent solution every week, and remove any residue with injection water. The current distribution plate needs to be disassembled and cleaned, and the light tubes also need to be cleaned separately. After using the cleaning tools, rinse them with detergent and purified water, and let them dry naturally.
Performance testing is the core. Regular testing of wind speed and uniformity is required. A hot wire anemometer should be used to measure the average wind speed (standard: 0.45 ± 20% m/s) at a distance of 15-30cm downstream of the high-efficiency filter. The deviation between the single point wind speed and the average should be ≤ ± 20%. At the same time, visual testing of airflow patterns is required to ensure that the airflow is a vertical/horizontal unidirectional flow without dead zones, eddies, or cross contamination. Efficient filter integrity testing (PAO/DOP method) is also essential, with a local leakage rate of ≤ 0.01%.
Professional maintenance is essential. Regularly check whether the bolts of each component of the fan are loose, whether the belt tension is moderate, and whether the impeller rotates normally and smoothly. Before starting, it is necessary to check the electrical circuit. The insulation resistance of the motor to ground should not be less than 2M Ω, and the leakage current value between the external leakage metal and the power line should not exceed 1.5mA. The unit should be managed and operated by professional personnel. During operation, the operation status of the unit should be regularly checked, and any abnormal situations should be promptly eliminated and regularly maintained.
